Dear friends of the seminary,

 

I know it has been a while since I last posted an update and there has been a lot that has gone on during that time. We are now nearing the end of the school year and ordinations will be taking place at the end of this week. The seminarians are now on retreat and I would like to ask you to please keep them in your prayers.

 

You are cordially invited to attend the ordinations this Saturday, May 11th at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Omaha, NE. The ceremonies will begin at 8 am and will be followed by a reception. Frater Martin Sentman, CMRI (Michigan) and Noah Ellis (Kentucky) will be receiving the subdiaconate. Kyle St. Aubin (Canada), Anthony Alley (South Dakota) and Lucas Costa (Brazil) will receive the final two minor orders of Exorcist and Acolyte. Julio Perez (California) and Jorge Diaz (Arizona) will receive the clerical tonsure.

 

While we had some bad storms in the area recently, thanks be to God and Our Blessed Mother, we were spared from any damage here at the seminary. There was a large tornado that hit a nearby town and caused quite a bit of destruction. We appreciate everyone who reached out to make sure that we were fine.
